New York State Bridge Authority -- Based in Highland, operates five toll bridges spanning the Hudson River from Catskill south to Bear Mountain. The toll on each of the bridges is $1 for eastbound cars. Commercial vehicles pay a higher toll. The authority has E-ZPass on all it river crossings. Thruway accounts are re-quired to use E-ZPass.
