Hours: Mid-April through end of October, Wednesday through Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesdays, June, July, August. Please call before your visit as preregistered groups or events may alter the regular tour schedule. Call for winter hours. Also open Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Cost: $4/Adults, $3/Seniors and Students; Children 12 yrs and under free. If accessibility is a concern, or if you require special assistance, please call prior to your visit.
Group Tours: By advance reservation only. Group size limit is 45. Available year-round. Tour time is 30 to 45 minutes. Bus parking available.
Location: At 32 Catherine Street; on the corner of Clinton and Catherine Streets, two blocks west of South Pearl Street and just minutes from the Capitol in Albany.

Take a tour of this elegant Georgian home, built in 1761, and learn of the activities of the household and other aspects of 18th-century social and political life.

See where george Washington, Benjamin Franklin and dozens of other prominent Americans and Europeans were entertained by an important American family, the Schuylers. View the elegant drawing room where Philip Schuyler's daughter, Elizabeth, married Alexander Hamilton.

Hear of the bold attempt by Tories to kidnap Schuyler, a noted general of the American revolution. See the bed chamber where General Burgoyne stayed as a prisoner-guest after his defeat at the Battle of Saratoga.

Schuyler Mansion boasts a substantion collection of Schuyler family pieces and fine New York and New England furniture of the colonial and federal periods. Excellent examples of Chinese export porcelain, delftware and English glassware grace this spacious hillside home.
